Contractor, who was brought up by his parents from Nigeria and Mumbai before he turned 7, had traveled across the globe and lived through diverse cultures when he was a kid. She accepted the invitation to attend Stratford's conservatory, a program which allows just four men and eight females can attend a 20 weeks crash training in classical theater. Contractor received a guaranteed spot in the next season of shows and eventually landed the role in the role of Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
